News Roundup: 2 Chains Ends Up In Chains, Drake Releases Album Cover Art, and More

Rapper 2 Chainz ended up in chains last night after a standoff with Oklahoma City police. Word is they were prevented from climbing aboard the rapper’s tour bus without a search warrant. Pandora Changes Strategies: Pandora is changing strategies once again. The music streaming site announced Thursday it will no longer enforce its “mobile listening cap” (which was implemented earlier this year) as of September 1st. The company also revealed two new “cost-saving measures” – a sleep timer and a limit of song skips within a 24-hour period. Now you will only be able to skip 12 songs in a rolling 24-hour period. Pandora has also debuted a “sleep timer,” in which the app automatically shuts off music after a certain period of time. Source: Billboard

2 Chainz Gets Arrested In Oklahoma: 2 Chainz’ and 10 others on his tour bus were arrested last night in Oklahoma by city police. TMZ reports that the arrests were due to interference with official procedures as the bus driver reportedly got out of the bus and locked the door, preventing officers from entering without a warrant. It is still unknown whether there are drug charges involved.

Pearl Jam Releases New Music Video: Pearl Jam has released a music video for their new single “Mind Your Manners,” off their upcoming album Lighting Bolt, which is due out October 15. The clip was directed by famed rock photographer Danny Clitch. Check it out:

Drake Releases Album Cover Art: Drake has revealed the cover art for his upcoming album Nothing Was the Same. Drake’s upcoming set will feature two different covers, an illustration of the rapper as an adult and one as a child (similar to Lil Wayne‘s Tha Carter III. The album is due Sept. 24.
