Ever wonder what happened to Alison's sister and brother-in-law from "Knocked Up"? The dynamic duo of Debbie (Leslie Mann) and Pete (Paul Rudd) had a few key scenes in the film, including Debbie taking Alison (Katherine Heigl) to the club where she meets Seth Rogen's character.
Now Judd Apatow aims to brings us back into the lives of the couple as Debbie celebrates her 40th birthday in "This Is 40." Continually lying about her age as she refuses to accept it, Debbie wonders if she's living the best life possible and decides she and Pete need to make some changes.
"I've made a list," she tells her husband in a scene from the trailer, which was released on Friday (April 27). "It's the 'do-better' list. We're 40 years old, if we don't do it now, when are we going to do it?"

Counting the Rings
At the gynecologist's office, the nurses try to figure out if Debbie was born in 1972, '74 or '75 since her paperwork lists a range of dates of birth. When Debbie finally blurts out, "I lie about my age, OK? OK?" her gynecologist responds, "I know how old you are. I'm counting the rings." And with that line, we know typical Apatow humor will be on display in this flick. After that exchange, Debbie decides it's time for a change and makes a list of the top three things she and her husband need to focus on now that they're in their 40s: exercise, the kids' education and being patient.
Exercise Every Day
In one scene, Debbie works with a personal trainer, which allows the filmmakers to bring back Jason Segel's "Knocked Up" character, also named Jason. "I can turn your body into a boner machine," he tells Debbie. When she points out that every woman gives him a boner, he replies, "Don't sell yourself short," before adding in a whisper, "Barb doesn't give me a boner." Looks like Jason's crush on Alison's sister never went away.
Get Involved in School
As Pete confronts a mother whose son is picking on his daughter, "Bridesmaids" star Melissa McCarthy makes a cameo as the confrontational mommy. She tells Pete to get his daughter's meds right and Pete calls her son an animal. When Pete gives her shoulder a little shove, she screams, "You touched my nipple!" When he tells her he merely touched her below her shoulder, she replies, "I have very high nipples!" How Rudd kept from breaking into laughter during that scene is beyond us.
More Patience With the Kids
Another key scene opens with Pete and Debbie's daughters pulling each other's hair as they fight in the back seat of the car. It then cuts to them at the dinner table, where Debbie announces they're cutting back on the girls' gadget use so they'll spend more time outside. She suggests instead that they build a fort, to which the exasperated eldest daughter exclaims, "And do what in the fort?" When Debbie says, "You don't need technology," the youngest daughter holds an iPhone up to her mouth and says, "No technology," as a monkey on the screen mimics her words.
Payback Time
The final scene shows Pete spread-eagle on a bed, holding a mirror up to his crotch trying to look at ... something. (We honestly don't want to know what.) When he asks Debbie to take a look, she asks if they can just keep a small shred of mystery in their relationship. Pete replies, "I saw you have babies — payback time." At least being in your 40s isn't boring.
"This Is 40" is set to hit theaters Christmas 2012.

David Guetta Teases 'Crazy' New Usher Collaboration
French producer/DJ opens up about working with his 'Without You' partner again.

Well, it looks like David Guetta and <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/usher/artist.jhtml">Usher</a> will have a new one for you to play over and over again soon. </P><P> </P><P>The French hitmaker teased to <a href="http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/earshot/david-guetta-usher-collaborating-new-song-coachella-315394"_blank"><i>The Hollywood Reporter</i></a> that he's worked with the R&B star on new music. "These are really big records that we're working on right now," he said of the twosome's latest work. "I was playing, and then he came to hang out and just to have a good time," he told the <i>Hollywood Reporter.</i> "Then I saw him on the side of the stage and I gave him the sign. He was like, 'Do you want me to do it with you? To come on stage?' and I was like, 'Hell yeah! Of course!' </P><P> </P><P>Guetta and Usher found chart success together back in 2011 with <a href="/news/articles/1674782/usher-david-guetta-without-you.jhtml"> "Without You."</a> And the singer explained that it was just the right time and place for it. </P><P> </P><P> "I think the world wanted a record like that. That [song] really spoke to the journey that I've actually been on in the last three years," Usher said about that song and how it relates to his musical philosophy. "Traveling all around the world, music sounds different. <P>As expected, <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/jackson_michael/artist.jhtml">Michael Jackson</a>'s former doctor <a href="/news/articles/1673957/conrad-murray-appeal-verdict-michael-jackson.jhtml">Conrad Murray has filed an appeal</a> to challenge his involuntary manslaughter conviction. </P><P> </P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Michael Jackson's Former Doctor Guilty Of Involuntary Manslaughter" id="vid:708788.id:1673923" width="240" height="211"></div><p> </P><P> </P><P>According to <a href="http://www.tmz.com/2011/12/02/conrad-murray-files-appeal-involuntary-manslaughter" target="_blank">TMZ</a>, Murray filed the petition in pro per, which means he has decided to forego hiring legal representation and represent himself. He reportedly listed "Men's Central Jail" and his booking number in the space on the appeal document where a lawyer would normally list a firm's name or contact information. </P><P> </P><P>TMZ also reported that although Murray seems to be without a lawyer, he is still in communication with Nareg Gourjian, one of the attorneys who represented him during his manslaughter trial. </P><P> </P><P>"This case presents a gold mine of issues for any appellate lawyer," Gourjian told TMZ. "Dr. Murray is confident that the Court of Appeal will vindicate him." </P><P> </P><P>Following the guilty verdict, Murray's lead defense lawyer Ed Chernoff told CNN, "What matters most right now is trying to keep Dr. Murray from taking up a prison cell in this community. That's what we're focusing on right now, and we'll deal with an appeal after that." </P><P> </P><P><a href="/news/articles/1675062/conrad-murray-sentence.jhtml">Murray was sentenced to four years</a> in jail Tuesday, but due to overcrowding, he's unlikely to serve his full term. </p>

Beyonce Fires Back at Fake Pregnancy Rumors
After giving birth to her beautiful daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, three months ago, Beyonce Knowles is finally speaking about the rumors that she faked her pregnancy with husband Jay-Z.
In an interview with People magazine for their 2012 World's Most Beautiful Woman special issue, the 30 year-old songstress said that the surrogacy rumors were "crazy," explaining, "That was crazy. It wasn’t hurtful, it was just crazy, [I thought] ‘Where did they come up with this?’”
Rumors started swirling that the "Bootylicious" singer was wearing a prosthetic baby bump back in October when she made an appearance on Australia's "Sunday Night HD." When Knowles sat down it appeared her bump deflated, but the actress fired back, saying, "It was a fabric that folded—does fabric not fold? Oh my gosh, so stupid."
Beyonce's sister, Solange Knowles, also shot back at the nay-sayers, tweeting earlier, "It has really gotten out of hand. I've been doing my best at keeping my mouth shut....but the ignorance is really sad and upsetting."
The singer/songwriter's family is definitely upset about the tabloid chatter, especially her mother, Tina Knowles, who vented, "I thought it was very unfair and very cruel that someone would think that someone would be that diabolical to keep up a charade like that for nine months. As a mother it was painful for me to hear the crazy rumors. And I even had people ask me, which was so ridiculous."
Though the situation has been tough on the Grammy Award-winning artist, she says she has gotten through all of the "stupid rumors" by focusing on all of the "love and well wishes" from her amazing fans.
Rumors aside, Beyonce called motherhood "amazing," gushing, "I feel more beautiful than I've ever felt because I've given birth, I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this earth."

Sarah Michelle Gellar & Charlotte Grace: Ballet Beauties
Just after reports surfaced that she is pregnant with her second child, Sarah Michelle Gellar was spotted out taking care of her current mommy duties as she took her daughter, Charlotte Grace, to ballet class in Los Angeles, CA this afternoon (April 28).
The "Cruel Intentions" beauty looked comfy for her mommy/daughter day out wearing olive green pants, a black sweater and black studded flats while her adorable little one rocked a pink tutu and silver shoes.
The ballet outing comes just after Us Weekly reported that the 35-year-old and her actor hubby, Freddie Prinze, Jr., are expecting their second bundle of joy.
As previously reported by GossipCenter, an Us insider "friend" of the couple dished about the family expansion, saying, "She and Freddie are thrilled. They're amazing parents."
The couple wed back in 2002 after three years of dating and later had their adorable two-year-old ballet dancing daughter, Charlotte Grace Prinze, in 2009.

Lindsay Lohan: Back for Another Day of "Glee" Duties
On location for the second day of her guest role filming efforts, Lindsay Lohan puffed away on a cigarette during a break from shooting scenes for "Glee" in Los Angeles on Thursday (April 26).
The "Mean Girls" starlet looked a bit bedraggled while clad in a leather jacket and form fitting trousers as she hung out with show regular Cory Monteith as they sought shelter from the rain under a tent.
Hopefully, the second day on set goes a bit more smoothly that her "Glee" debut - as a source told E! News, "Lindsay was a total nightmare yesterday. She was three hours late in the morning, and when she did finally arrive, she just didn't want to be there. She did not want to work. She had not memorized her lines, and she kept disappearing so no one could find her."
Defending his oft-troubled client, Miss Lohan's rep, Steve Honig, called the negative comments a "misunderstanding", explaining, "The production team came to us and said that they wanted to start [with Lindsay] right after lunch, which was at 2. They wanted to begin with Lindsay at 3, so that meant she had a lot of time where she wasn't doing anything. That's why people didn't see her. She was then in hair and makeup and began after lunch at 3."
Honig added, "If there was a problem yesterday, I would have just said 'no comment,' however I can't ignore this because this is utter B.S. This is a classic example of people trying to bash Lindsay. She busted her ass yesterday and is back on set again today."

'Amazing Spider-Man' Sequel 'Holy Grail' For Writing Duo
Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci are set to rewrite the script for yet-untitled sequel.

Although we still have several months to wait before we see Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker in "The Amazing Spider-Man," the ball is already rolling behind plans for the film's sequel and its May 2, 2014, release date.
The first film's screenwriter, James Vanderbilt, penned the first draft of the sequel's script, but it was announced Tuesday (April 24) that Sony has hired the prolific writing duo of Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci to rewrite the script.
"We grew up as huge Spider-Man fans so, to us, the opportunity to work on this film is akin to being handed the Holy Grail," Kurtzman and Orci said in a statement. "We love the direction Sony and the filmmakers are taking the Peter Parker/Spider-Man mythology and we couldn't be more excited to be a part of this legendary franchise."
Kurtzman and Orci are no strangers to penning blockbusters: They wrote "Star Trek" and its yet-untitled sequel (along with Damon Lindelof) for director J.J. Abrams, "Transformers," "Cowboys and Aliens" and "Mission: Impossible III."
"Alex and Bob have a unique ability to write great character and spectacular action that makes them pitch perfect for Spider-Man," producer Matt Tolmach said in a statement. "They've been friends of ours for a long time, and they have an exciting take on the franchise — we're thrilled to have them join the Spider-Man family."
"It's a thrill to have Alex and Bob put their stamp on this franchise that we all love so well," producer Avi Arad added. "They have an innate understanding of what makes Peter Parker not just a superhero, but a hero for all of us."
When they're not busy writing blockbuster films, Kurtzman and Orci serve as executive producers on the upcoming sci-fi fantasy "Ender's Game," "Now You See Me" and "Hawaii Five-O." They also wrote the upcoming drama "People Like Us," which is Kurtzman's feature directorial debut.

"Basically, we were going to do this supergroup, but he released his single, I released my single," Bieber explained to host Carson Daly, to which Adam replied, "I'm sorry I quit, man." </P><P> </P><P>MTV News recently caught up with Levine on the set of Maroon 5's new music video for "Payphone," where we asked the frontman to address the supergroup rumblings. </P><P> </P><P>"The supergroup thing was a joke and, of course, because it's Justin Bieber, it gets put up on Twitter and is fact," Levine said. "We were just messing with people. It's funny. He's a really good kid, and I think he deserves what he's got. There aren't many people out there who can appreciate that level of success as much as he does. As in the Jewish culture, we say he's a mensch." </P><P> </P><P>How we love celeb BFFs. Bieber might have to keep a lid on his budding "bromance" with Levine, however, because fellow "Voice" judge Blake Shelton has already claimed the top bromantic spot, via Twitter, of course. </P><P> </P><P>"Me and @adamlevine have a #bromance and @blakeshelton is jealous. And with a collective sub-cultural pedigree that includes stints in the Germs, No Use for a Name, Sunny Day Real Estate, Scream and some band called Nirvana, you'd think the <a href="/music/artist/foo_fighters/artist.jhtml">Foo Fighters</a> — set to perform at Sunday's <a href="http://www.mtv.com/ontv/movieawards/2011/">Movie Awards</a> — would know their "Potter" from their Zeppelin. Certainly they can recognize a "wand" reference and pinpoint its origin? </P><P> </P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="The Foo Fighters Take The Movie Awards Quiz" id="vid:660301.id:1664959" width="240" height="211"></div><p> </P><P> </P><P>Right? Before we put MTV News' magically crafted trivia to the band, it seemed safe to assume the Foos would accurately distinguish between the words of Harry Potter, a "Twilight" character and Led Zeppelin. Justin Bieber And Selena Gomez 'Not Engaged,' Rep Says
Manager Scooter Braun tells US Weekly that Bieber's management team was 'laughing' when they heard the engagement rumors.

<P><P>The celebrity relationship rumor mill has churned out another juicy one today (April 20) with reports that teen sweethearts <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/bieber_justin/artist.jhtml">Justin Bieber</a> and <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/gomez__selena/artist.jhtml">Selena Gomez</a> are taking their romance to the next level and shopping for engagement rings. </P><P> </P><P>As expected, the rumor is just that. Bieber's manager Scooter Braun told <a href="http://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-news/news/rep-justin-bieber-selena-gomez-are-not-getting-engaged-2012204" target="_blank">Us Weekly</a> that the reports are "complete bulls---" and that the Biebs' entire management team was very entertained by the fictional report. For Bieber, that philosophy includes honesty and patience. </P><P> </P><P>"I don't know if I'm even the best boyfriend," <a href="http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1682957/justin-bieber-boyfriend-tips.jhtml">Bieber recently admitted to MTV News</a> during an interview on the set of the music video shoot for his latest single, "Boyfriend."
