The rumor mill is buzzing that Justin Bieber has been approached to play Christian Grey in the movie adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey.
I don’t know about you but this is one rumor that I hope is more fact than fiction. I can’t imagine The Biebs playing the smoking hot sexual man that is Christian Grey. While on the Jonathan Ross chat show the teen singing sensation revealed that the powers that be behind the movie have asked him to play the kinky lead character. Obviously he probably wasn’t suppose to let it slip but he did and I am not entirely sure it was a accidental slip up but more of an intentional slip if you ask me.
If you have read the books you know there are flashback parts where readers get to know a young Christian as he was introduced to the world of S&M so it could be that the producers are looking at Justin for that part of Grey. Seriously I can’t imagine Justin playing this role even as the younger flashback version and in all honesty I don’t want to imagine it. After reading all three books I think that he would be a terrible choice and probably ruin the film. I know that if he is involved at all it will certainly make me not want to see this movie that quite honestly I can’t wait for.
When I think of Christian Grey I think of Ryan Gosling or someone along his lines not Justin freaking Bieber. As for the younger version how about Taylor Lautner he is a little freaking hottie, Bieber is so not. I realize there have been a million casting rumors about who will play this coveted role since it was announced that the books would be made into movies. That being said I don’t really know how much truth there is to this rumor even with Justin sharing he had been approached, so until I hear that he has actually signed on I am going to reseve my rant. Until then I am going to hope that the powers that be behind the S&M movie will come up with someone much better than The Biebs. Those are my thoughts on the possiblity of Justin Bieber playing Christina Grey, what do you think?
