Charlize Theron celebrated her 38th birthday with a Hawaiian vacation. She popped up in the islands this week with her son, Jackson, and a group of friends for what looked like a fun-filled day by the pool. Charlize's journey to Hawaii was just one stop on her globe-trotting birthday week. The actress reportedly had an early birthday celebration in Rome on Sunday, where she had dinner with a group of friends and, of course, feasted on cake. After leaving Italy, Charlize traveled back home to LA to prepare for her Hawaiian getaway with Jackson and her mom.
The past few weeks haven't just been about partying for Charlize, as she traveled back to Africa last month on a humanitarian trip to raise awareness about HIV and AIDS. She met with South African President Jacob Zuma and held a press conference to talk about the need to educate young women in Africa about sexual health.
