Funny couple Anna Faris and Chris Pratt have welcomed their first child Jack.
‘House Bunny’ starlet Anna Faris and her husband Chris Pratt of Parks and Recreation fame are celebrating the birth of their first son Jack. According to People Magazine, the news was released by the couple’s rep who shared that Faris and Pratt “are happy to announce the birth of their beautiful baby boy Jack.”
Adding, “He arrived earlier than expected and will be spending some time in the NICU. The happy parents thank you for your warm wishes and ask that you honor their privacy during this time.” The actress was supposed to give birth in the fall with the baby arriving early.
The 35-five year old Faris gave birth to their son on August 25th. Other details regarding the birth has yet to be released.
Faris first revealed that she was pregnant with the couple’s child back in May. As pointed out by People the actress then appeared the next day at the premiere of her movie The Dictator to promote her role in the film as the character Zoey.
A month later in June Faris divulged that she was expecting a baby boy, dropping the news while talking with her co-star of What’s Your Number? Dave Annable and his wife. Faris responded to a question asked about the baby when she shared, “He’s doing great!” Adding, “We’re growing everyday.” The news that the couple were expecting a baby boy was quick to make headlines.
The new parents met on the set of Take Me Home Tonight, marrying in Bali back in 2009. Congrats to Faris and Pratt on the news of their baby boy Jack.
You can expect to see Faris and Pratt next up in Movie 43 where they will star opposite one another. The comedy film will hit theaters on Jan. 23rd 2013.
