Actress Kristin Chenoweth was injured on the set of the legal drama ‘The Good Wife’. Get the details behind Chenoweth’s unfortunate incident below.
Forty-three year old Kristin Chenoweth was injured on the set of CBS’ The Good Wife. According to reports from both People Magazine and TMZ, Chenoweth was reportedly struck in the head by a piece of equipment that had fallen during filming in Brooklyn, New York.
The incident was said to have happened late this afternoon. The actress was rushed by ambulance to the hospital to be examined. She is suffering from minor injuries with her representative Jill Fritzo stating that she was injured by scaffolding.
An unknown source revealed that a gust of wind was responsible for the accident. “I thought she was dead at first. That area is a vortex for wind … and a big gust of wind blew the lighting off the scaffolding.” the witness stated. Additional details regarding her injuries have yet to be released.
Chenoweth was on the set of show to film her recurring role for the upcoming fourth season. The actress will show up in the first half of the New Year in ‘The Good Wife’ to play a political reporter who makes it her mission to investigate series resident Alicia (played by Julianna Margulies) and her ex-husband, Peter Florrick (played by Chris Noth).
Over the years Chenoweth has appeared on Broadway, as well as ‘Submissions Only’, ‘You Again’, the hilarious series with Betty White ‘Hot in Cleveland’, ‘Sit Down Shut Up’, ’12 Men of Christmas’, ‘Legally Mad’, ‘Into Temptation’, the fan favorite ”Pushing Daisies’, ‘Ugly Betty’, and ‘Robot Chicken’.
The forty-three year old has also appeared in the kid’s long running series ‘Sesame Street’, ‘The West Wing’, ‘Bewitched’ and ‘The Music Man’. News on Chenoweth’s condition should be on the way.
